Our Programs
The WRP works to achieve its mission by engaging community members, businesses, towns, organizations, and agencies to help us implement on-the-ground programs designed to monitor the health of the watershed; protect and improve the river and its watershed; and promote watershed stewardship at the local level.
Watershed Assessment
Through long-term monitoring, we work to understand the watershed’s health, prioritize our resources, and gauge the effectiveness of our restoration efforts:
Watershed Restoration
Through on-the-ground restoration projects, we work to reduce siltation, stabilize stream banks, improve water quality and habitat, provide new recreational opportunities, and protect crops and land from erosion:

To raise awareness about watershed issues and to promote long-term stewardship, we inform the public and important issues and offer opportunities for the public to actively protect the watershed:
