Get Involved
The WRP is a nationally recognized and award-winning watershed organization because of the involvement and strong commitment of our devoted community members and partners. We depend on hundreds of volunteers each year to accomplish much of our important work. Here are a few ways that you too can get involved and support our work:
Join the WRP
As a community-based organization, the WRP depends on financial contributions to support our on-the-ground work in the watershed. Please become a supporting member today by making a tax-deductible donation – just print out our membership form and mail the completed form and your donation check to our office at PO Box 705, S. Royalton, VT 05068.
Volunteer
Whether it’s planting trees, monitoring water quality, joining a work group, or lending a hand in the office, we would greatly appreciate your help (no experience necessary). Click here for more details about our annual volunteer opportunities, or visit our News page for upcoming event information.
Join a WRP Stewardship Group
Get involved in your “sub-watershed” by joining one of our stewardship groups – the Down Stream Team, the Forestry Work Group, or the Upper River Stream Team. These groups of volunteers are organized by geography or focus area, and help the WRP accomplish our mission by identifying watershed issues and initiating creative, grassroots solutions.

The WRP depends on a strong workforce of volunteers to implement our programs. Volunteers Peter and Kathy Leonard help plant trees on a farm along the Second Branch.
